Comcotec: Segosoft reduces time required for hygiene processes
The userfriendly software SegoSoft from Comcotec Messtechnik reduces the day-to-day time and effort required to document hygiene processes in accordance with requirements of the Robert Koch Institute.
The program automatically collects, manages and ar - chives the incoming process data from thermal disinfectors and sterilisers, and does not require the intervention of authorized personnel until a decision on the release of the treated instruments is required. Release takes place using an advanced electronic signature pursuant to the Digital Signature Act (section 2 no. 2 SigG). Both the authenticity of the process data and the identity of the person releasing the equipment can be verified in accordance with public standards and used as evidence in a court of law.
SegoSoft enables all the devices involved in the processing cycle that have produced relevant process data to be documented via a standard user interface. The system supports standard manufacturers and systems and is compatible with all common practice man - agement and patient administration systems.
